JUDY’S JOURNEY ENCHANTS SUPPORTERS AT LUNCHEON BENEFITTING KIDSANCTUARY CAMPUS

Renowned artist and designer, Judith Murat Grubman packed the house at Club Colette with a luncheon and book launch to benefit KidSanctuary Campus on Tuesday, February 26.
The seascape inspired event included an underworld setting by the famous and talented Bruce Sutka of Sutra International Design and a fashion show courtesy of Sabella Mikesell Couture. The fashion show, emceed by Emmy Award Winner Toni May featured both made-to-order and off the rack looks for both day and night by designers Lon Sabella and Daniel Mikesell. While Toni spoke about each current look for Spring, Judy described her stunningly creative pieces of jewelry, of which several are showcased in her new book, Judy’s Journey Into The Land Of Murat.
Co-authored by the designer and Charles (Sunny) Castor, Judy’s Journey Into The Land Of Murat is a fable about little Judy’s mystical adventures and the creatures that lead her on her voyage. Each guest received an advanced copy of the book autographed by Judith Murat Grubman and Julie Rudolph was the lucky winner of a pair of 18 karat gold butterfly earrings from the “Murat’s Garden” collection. The room burst into applause as Julie hugged Judy and said, “I never win anything and this is such a treasured gift!”
Judith Murat Fine Jewelry is currently available at A.R.T. Worth Avenue and 10% of all sales of the Judith Murat Fine Jewelry Line will benefit KidSanctuary Campus through April 30, 2013.
Says KidSanctuary Campus President, Connie Frankino, “Judy’s spirit, enthusiasm, and passion is evident in both her exquisite jewelry designs and her new book. KidSanctuary is thrilled to call her a partner in our mission to build a safe harbor for kids who have been removed from their home because of neglect and abuse.”
